How To: Make a Snow Candle

Like it or not, snow has blanketed our lovely state of Michigan.  If you need a little help embracing the white stuff, try the fun and simple art of snow candles.  All you have to do is root a tapered candle in the snow and surround it with a circle of 2" snowballs. Build up layers of smaller and smaller circles until you've built a dome. The candle will illuminate the "igloo" and burn for hours.  I love the idea of making a path of snow candles to your door for that next get together with friends or family.  Not only will your kids love to help, but it may even help you get over that little tinge of sadness you feel when the Christmas decor comes down.  Have fun!
