Pet rocks are an all-time favorite craft project that are easy and cost-friendly to make. There are many ways to decorate pet rocks, so they can be made to suit just about any personality.
Pet rocks are made of smooth, clean stones and are fairly simple to make. All you need is a smooth rock, glue, and plastic craft eyeballs (otherwise known as googly eyes or wiggly eyes). Pet rocks are typically made using stones with a round or oval shape resembling the shape of a head.
To make a pet rock, clean and dry your stone, then glue the eyeballs on the stone in an appropriate position. Once the glue is dry, you have a basic pet rock. To give your pet rock some pizzazz, embellishments and/or paint can be added to make it unique.
As with any small objects, be sure to keep the items away from small children as small items can be a choking hazard.
