If you feel like your all thumbs and don't want to tackle this project there are some nice lighting and tent set ups that won't break the bank. There is one at Amazon that is a good bargain.
Light tent and lights at Amazon under $100
Using a light tent makes taking good photos much easier and crisper without the light spots of glare from direct lighting. Using the correct lighting keeps from having to use a flash which can cause light reflections on the subject and can wash out the colors. Amazon's deal, link above, has those great daylight bulbs discussed in the last article A picture speaks a thousand words when selling on line. These bulbs can last up to 10000 hours and sometimes longer.
The picture above was made with an acrylic sheet. These can be made for not much at all. I'll discuss that in the next article.
