How to keep your Dog's shedding under Control

De-shedding any dog can a task in it's self. Here are some simple tips to how you can save your house, clothes and furniture from getting that excess fur lining.

1. First you want to try to keep up with your brushing, be it either daily or weekly depending on your dogs needs. Long-haired and heavy coated should have more brushing/combing then the shorter coats as they can tangle easier. While short-haired dogs can leave just as much hair as the long variety if not kept up.

2. As long as the daily needs are met, you should only have to do one big brush out/blow out once a month during that part of the shedding season that is the worst. You will notice a change in the amount of hair being dropped.

3. If you are bathing your dog, remember to bathe the dog after you brush/comb your dog. Doing this will keep your coat happy and healthy. Not to mention, all the loose and dead hair will be easier to come out if there are no tangles.

If you follow these basics you will find that, there will be less hair in your house, and both of you will be happier in your living space.
