How to install baseboard molding in a tight corner

See also

While installing baseboard molding you come to a corner that is so tight you can only install a 1 inch piece of baseboard on one leg of the corner; what do you do. In the accompanying slide show you will see a relatively easy way to turn the corner with the baseboard molding making it look as if you knew exactly what you were doing. If you are lucky enough to have a disk or belt sander this job will go much smoother. Even without a disk or belt sander it can be done with hand tools along with a good dose of elbow grease. In the end, with care, you will produce work you will be proud to show off to your friends.
