While installing baseboard molding you come to a corner that is so tight you can only install a 1 inch piece of baseboard on one leg of the corner; what do you do. You could just slide the baseboard molding into the corner and hope nobody will see it or you could make it look professionally done. If you are like most people you will want it to look like it was done by a professional.

In the accompanying slide show you will see a relatively easy way to turn the corner with the baseboard molding making it look as if you knew exactly what you were doing. If you are lucky enough to have a disk or belt sander this job will go much smoother. Even without a disk or belt sander it can be done with hand tools along with a good dose of elbow grease. In the end, with care, you will produce work you will be proud to show off to your friends.
