You begin first by transcending the three lower center of consciousness; security, sensation and power addictions. It’s your emotional programming that gets upset when outside events don’t conform. You view people as to how they meet your addictive needs, in these lower centers, and create a word in which they are lived out. As you begin to notice the empty gaping hole and suffering these addictions cause, you begin getting glimpses that help you get free from them.
As your addictions melt away you view everyone and everything in a different way
You realize that each individual has the need to be doing exactly what he or she is doing, here and now. You are living from the fourth center-love center, when you accept everything people do as a part of their journey toward awakening. You know you are consciously on the path if you can accept moment-to-moment “stuff” because this is what helps them to grow too.
If they are not consciously on the path and get angry that’s their problem
As your addictions (see previous link) melt away and become preferences you can instantly accept what was previously unacceptable. By not getting irritated you will be more effective. Your ego, has less and less to do. People start experiencing you as purer, this helps them to become purer.
When you live more from the love center your blood circulation will improve
Your hands and feet may be warmer. Your blood vessels are no longer tight and restricted. Your face and neck feel warm “glowing.” Your skin experiences cold but you don’t feel it as you grow into higher consciousness.
You spend more time touching
You enjoy beauty and the oneness that you experience when you make contact not just through words, site, and sound, but through your touch receptors. Breaking through duality and separation, you see it was only in your head.
Every experience you have of people leaves you peaceful and loving
Your work is no longer performed mechanically on autopilot. Selfless service is beautiful. Selfless service without thought of reward is a characteristic of the fourth center of consciousness.
So no matter what happens you experience everything as love
You are able to return love no matter what is said or done. You get to the place where nothing that happens knocks you down. Relationships that are held together by “should” or “shouldnts” lose their spontaneous here-and-now. Love can’t be a programmed addiction held together by fear or pressure. Real love remains and blossoms when there is no addiction. Optimal future is flowing, non-expectant present moment.
Higher consciousness
Start where you are now. Ignoring or avoiding your obligations creates “me-them” attitude. There is no space for harmony in that for “us” consciousness. As you relate to your obligations you work them out by working on yourself. In the future you may make only those obligations which you can flowingly fulfill with an “us” space. It’s your involvement that is conditional-not your love. You are able to experience a deep inner peace by simply being in each others presence. You are able to love everyone around you and not become involved in their drama.
