How to get your Christmas gifts for free

What if I told you that you could get all of your Christmas gifts for free? Would you believe me? This year I discovered multiple resources that will supply me with many gift cards that I will be able to use to buy all of my Christmas gifts. That’s right FREE! This Christmas, I will not pay one red cent for Christmas gifts. Below are my tips for a “Free Christmas”:

MyPoints: Earn points for what you already do online, shopping, reading emails, playing games, searching the web, taking surveys, and more! The more you do, the more Points you’ll earn. Use your Points to get gift cards for nearly 100 different stores and restaurants or enjoy gas cards, airline miles and hotel discounts. You pick the rewards you want. Gift cards are quickly delivered to your door, free of charge. Click here to sign up for MyPoints.

Swag Bucks: Search the web using the Swag Bucks website and receive results from Google and Ask.com. Swag Bucks are periodically awarded as you search the web. Redeem your Swag Bucks for apparel, books, music, electronics, gift cards, etc. Click here to sign up for Swag Bucks.

Inbox Dollars: Be rewarded with cash for your online activities such as reading emails, shopping online, trying brand name products, taking surveys and playing games. Once you reach $30.00 in earnings, you can cash out and a check will be sent to you in the mail. Click here to sign up for Inbox Dollars.

iRazzo: Search the web using the iRazzo search bar. Each search is a chance to instantly win an Amazon gift card. At the top of every webpage, you can also earn 4 points by voting for (or against) websites. In addition, you earn an extra 4 points for entering a comment. Exchange your points for exciting prizes such as MP3 players, cameras, memory sticks and video game systems. Click here to sign up for iRazzo.

Credit Card Rewards Programs: Sign up for a credit card with a rewards program. For example, Chase has a program called Flexible Rewards. For every dollar spent, you earn one point. Redeem your points for cash back, gift cards, name-brand merchandise, hotel stays, etc. Research the various rewards programs out there and select the best card for you.

Ebates: Ebates is the pioneer and leader of online Cash Back Shopping. Joining Ebates is free and there are no fees to use this website. While you cannot earn money using this website, you can get some of your cash back from online shopping. You can request your payment via check, have it deposited into your PayPal account or given to your favorite charity. Choose from over 1,000 online merchants. Click here to sign up for Ebates.

eBay Bucks: Earning eBay Bucks is easy. After you enroll, just make qualifying purchases on eBay and you’ll automatically earn eBay Bucks. The earn percent for the eBay Bucks program is 2%. eBay Bucks are rewarded quarterly and you will be given an eBay Bucks Certificate which you can use for future eBay purchases. Click here to sign up for the eBay Bucks Program.

Online Offers: I am sure that most of you have received emails like “Get A Free Laptop” or “Get A Free Coach Purse” and most of you probably delete them and assume that they are not legitimate. These are called ‘online offers” and although not all companies are legitimate, some of them are. I recommend that you visit Money Saving Methods. This website has a section called “Online Offers” and it provides exact instructions on how to complete and redeem online offers and provides referrals to legitimate companies. For example, I recently completed an online offer for a $500.00 VISA Debit Card. To redeem my gift card, I had to select eight online offers, per the Terms and Conditions of the offering company. I selected such offers as Netflix, ProActiv, FreeCreditReport.com, etc. After each of my offers was approved by the company, I received a form to complete to redeem my gift card. Within two weeks, I received my $500.00 VISA gift card via FedEx. Please note that I had to supply this company with my Social Security Number because if your prize is over $500.00 they are required by law to submit a W-9 to the government and you will have to file this on your taxes. The companies will mail you your tax forms at the end of the year. Don’t be caught off guard when you are required to supply the company with your Social Security Number or Tax ID Number, there really is no way to get around this.
