Insecurities sometimes seem permanent but there is a way to get past them. People can have insecurities for various things such as their weight, the way they are in bed, the way they talk, walk, act or even breathe. The way you fix them is to first fix the way you are mentally.

You must think of what you have going for you. You may have insecurity with your weight but is your weight really that bad? Remember there is always someone who is worse off than you are out there. Sometimes thinking of others misfortunes shows you how fortunate you really are. If you have insecurities about your weight just think of how much worse it could be. Once you start feeling better about it then you can work on improving it. Maybe go for a walk for 30 minutes a day or join a dance class twice a week. You will notice that your insecurity will slowly start fading as you become more comfortable in your own skin.

To get past your insecurities such as jealousy in a relationship, you need to remind yourself that your boyfriend/girlfriend chose you out of billions of people in the world. You are the one they want to spend their time with and you are the one that they are attracted to. If they have roaming eyes then talk to them about your feelings towards it. Maybe they don’t know they are hurting your feelings so there is a chance they will stop just for you.

You need to work on yourself inside and out to get rid of the pesky insecurities. Just think about how much happier you would be in life if you weren’t insecure. It isn’t going to be easy but it certainly will be worth it in the end. Once you are no longer insecure, your relationships will be better as well as your attitude on life.
