It's winter time which means our skin is getting dried and cracked with the harsh weather. Our lips also suffer from this weather and tend to become dry, cracked, and sometimes split. Anyone who knows me, knows I am a chapstickaholic. I always have it on me and when I don't, I usually buy it. I've been reading a lot about different ways to treat your lips in the winter and I came across one and figured I would try it. Yes, I am your test dummy for all things beauty.
The article said to put Vaseline on your lips and then use a toothbrush to clear the dead skin off. Well, I was fresh out of Vaseline so instead I put a heavy coat of chap-stick on my lips. I use a toothbrush that had a tongue scrapper on the other side, it was a two for one deal.
So, all I did was apply the chap-stick and make sure my lips were coated nicely. I got my toothbrush wet and used the brush in a circular motion on my lips. I didn't press hard because I was worried about hurting my lips and this was the first time I've ever tried this. I switched between the brush and back, depending on where I was trying to get and then I rinse my lips and re-applied chap-stick.
My lips were fuller and sup soft! Now the fullness won't last but my lips are still super soft and feel awesome. Try this out and let me know how it works for you! Always remember to wear chap-stick in this weather to protect your lips, personally I like EOS or Burts Bees.
