Christina Aguilera wowed viewers with her powerhouse voice and a svelte body in a sheer bodysuit on Monday night’s episode of “The Voice”, but did you love her bouncy bob hairstyle? If yes is the answer, and seriously, who wouldn’t love her Marilyn Monroe inspired look, then read on for a step-by-step guide on how to recreate the “Beautiful” songstress’ tresses from her celebrity hairstylist, David Babaii.
Christina Aguilera looked amazing as she opened the “Live” episodes of season five of “The Voice”, and her classic Hollywood A-line bob had a contemporary twist. David Babaii, her celebrity hairstylist, was inspired by her new look and felt her mega talent, gorgeous face and dazzling personality called for full blown-out glam. David details how to recreate “The Voice” coach’s look below.
- David first cut a classic A-Line bob to add a more dramatic contour to her style.
- After shampooing and towel drying, David added a small amount of mousse to the root area only, for lift and volume, leaving the ends free to move.
- Next, he blow-dried her hair with a T3 blow dryer and large round brush adding movement and swing to the ends.
- To finish, he bumped the ends under slightly with large barrel curling iron and misted lightly with hairspray for added volume.
Christina Aguilera and “The Voice” return to NBC Tuesday with more “Live” shows.
