How to get around Walt Disney World when staying near Disney's Animal Kingdom

Getting around the Walt Disney World Resort can be confusing and overwhelming, especially for first time guests. Disney transportation options include the monorail, ferries and buses. However, not every resort has the option to use all of these. Some of the resorts are located in areas of the Walt Disney World Resort that aren't situated on a lake or near the iconic monorail.

Some resorts share buses and others have a bus all to themselves. For instance, the All-Star Resorts often have one bus that goes to all three resorts. Here is a look at the resorts in Disney's Animal Kingdom area and how to get around.
