How to get around Walt Disney World when staying at an Epcot area resort

Getting around the Walt Disney World Resort can be confusing, especially for first time guests. Disney transportation includes the monorail, ferry and bus. These are five resorts in the Epcot area and their transportation options to and from the resorts.

There are six resorts in the Epcot area. Disney’s Yacht Club and Disney’s Beach Club are sister resorts that share transportation and amenities, as well as Walt Disney World Swan and Walt Disney World Dolphin. These are the resorts and their transportation options.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Villas

  • Magic Kingdom – bus
  • Epcot – walk (5 - 10 minutes) or the Friendship ferry
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios - walk (15 - 20 minutes) or the Friendship ferry
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom - bus
