Growing up you are supposed to learn something new every day, you should always be good and well-mannered, you should eat your vegetables, go to school get a good job and have a good life. But things get in the way and then other things happen. Whatever your situation may be you need to know that you can get a job without having the right skills or a lot of experience, especially when it comes to a startup business looking to hire new people. A startup is a business that has just recently opened and is something new. With a startup there is so much involved and finances tend to be tight so having little to no experience you may be hired just because you would not be asking for a higher amount of pay.
To begin you should look for a startup that is still on the ground floor or in other words the first stages; think along the lines of ten people or less. This is suggested because you will be taking on just as much as everyone else who is involved and later on will be higher up as one of the beginners when it was founded. You should look for a job that is in an area that you have some experience with and then once you are there work your way into the department that you want to be in.
You should also do your best to provide yourself with a variety of experiences. For example, when you have free time on your hands you should try to create something. Now a day it does not take much to set you a part from everyone else that is out there. George Tanner from www.bestsmallflashlight.com says “Think of things this way everyone has to start somewhere and when you do start you don’t have skills; everyone goes through their first job at one point or another and living life and experiencing things is how you learn. School helps and looks good but back in the day that is not how things worked.”
