Modify any quiche recipe with non dairy, gluten free, and other dietary restrictive ingredients so that each dish is just right for you. For a traditional base, make this easy dish using the following ingredients:
6 eggs (or 2 cups egg substitute)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp salt & pepper blend (1 part salt, 2 parts pepper)
1/4 tsp dried, ground coriander or nutmeg
Fillings of your choice, 1/2 to 1 cup of cheese, 1 cup precooked vegetable, 1/2 cup ham or other meat.
Combine the above ingredients thoroughly and pour into a prepared pie plate lined with a pre made or handmade pie crust or pate brisee (no need to pre bake!) Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until the filling or custard is set and springs back to the touch.
