How to enjoy the Summer Movie Express Program

Various Regal Theaters in Colorado

Regal Theaters is once again sponsoring their Summer Movie Express. The best ways to enjoy the Summer Movie Express this season are as follows:

1. Plan Ahead. Put the titles, dates and times on your family calendar. Let the kids see what's coming and which movies they can't live without seeing. They can even invite their summer bff's along.

2. Snacks. Of course Regal theaters have your favorite snacks. However, you might not want your kids riding the sugar buzz so early in the morning. Think about brining along fruit slices and buying ice cold milk from the consession stand.

3. Dress appropriately. Sure it's summertime, but the theater might be as cold as Juno, Alaska at Christmas time. Bring along a light jacket or sweater in case the theater is chilly.

The week of June 14th and 15th the Summer Movie Express will be featuring:

How to Train Your Dragon (on Tuesday)

The Trumpet of the Swan (on Wednesday)

The Summer Movie Express is only $1.

This year, the Summer Movie Express will raise funds for the Will Rogers Institute by charging a $1 admission. The Will Rogers Institute funds medical research and health education. Back in 1936, when it was the Will Rogers Memorial Hospital, enough funds were raised to cure tuberculosis. Recognizable by their famous Summer movie public service announcements featuring famous actors from Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, Clint Eastwood and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Now the Will Rogers Institute raises funds towards the research of debilitating lung disorders, medical school training fellowships and distribution of free health education materials to the general public.

All shows begin a 10am. For a more detailed list of movies, or more information about the Summer Movie Express, click here: http://www.regmovies.com/SummerMovieExpress/
