How to easily catch a cheater on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day

New Year’s Eve is one of those special times of the year when you can easily catch a cheating mate. The same things holds true for New Year’s Day.

So if you suspect your spouse or significant other of having an affair, now is the time to be alert.

There is something almost every cheater does this time of the year which will inadvertently give himself or herself away.

How Cheaters Give Themselves Away

The key to catching a cheating mate on New Year’s Eve, is to observe the cheater’s behavior as it gets closet to the time to ring in the New Year, and ring out the old.

Pay close attention to person (or persons) the cheater communicates with shortly before midnight on New Year’s Eve, or first thing on New Year’s Day.

Most cheaters will find some way to communicate with their secret lover shortly before or shortly after this occasion.

Regardless of whether you and the suspected cheater are out partying with a crowd, or spending an intimate New Year’s evening together at home, this is the one thing most cheaters usually do that will easily give them away.

It will be hard for the cheater to resist the urge to contact his or her secret lover to wish them a Happy New Year.

Keep your eyes and ears open during this window of opportunity, and you might even catch the cheater in the act.

If You’re at a New Year’s Eve Party

So the likelihood is high that your cheating spouse or significant other is romantically involved with someone you know. It could be a neighbor, a mutual acquaintance, or possibly a family friend.

If the cheater’s lover is someone from your social circle, all three of you find yourselves together at the same New Year’s Eve party this year. If so, this gives you a golden opportunity to check things out.

Be alert for both subtle, as well as obvious for telltale signs. Whenever two lovers are in the vicinity of each other, their behavior or body language will give them away.

As mentioned before, knowing what to look for is the key.

Keep your eyes and ears open. There’s no telling what you might see or hear. If your spouse of significant other disappears for an extended period of time, discreetly attempt to find out where he or she is.

Unusual Behavior on New Year’s Eve

No matter where a cheater is on New Year’s Eve, or who he or she is with, the cheater will usually try to touch base with the person with whom they’re having an affair.

Cheating spouses and their secret lovers can be quite resourceful.

Be suspicious of any unexplained absences, whispered conversations, or sudden errands that your spouse or significant other has to run shortly before or after midnight on New Year’s Eve.

On her way to the ladies room, Roxanne found Kyle in a hallway with his back to her, talking on his cell phone in hushed tones. He was leaving a voice mail message (obviously to another woman) telling her he loved her and would be thinking of her tonight when the New Year came in.

Amanda asked Jules to take her home early from the New Year’s Eve party because she didn’t feel well. Jules had an uneasy feeling, in the 2½ years they’d been dating, he’d never known Amanda to be sick. After dropping Amanda off, Jules hung around, Amanda’s apartment building, staying out of sight. Twenty minutes later, he saw Amanda leave her apartment, hail a cab, and head for points unknown.

Stories like these are all too common.

If for some reason the cheater is unable to contact his or her lover on New Year’s Eve, they’ll do so at the first opportunity on New Year’s Day.

The Telltale the Cell Phone or Cell Phone Bill

Your mate’s cell phone can tell you a lot. Once again, knowing what to look for is the key.

Who was the last person they called or texted just before midnight on New Year’s Eve? Who was the last person they received a text or a phone call from? Who was the first person your mate and communicated with on January 1st, New Year’s Day.

If your spouse or significant other is cheating on you, the calls or texts messages during those critical times will be either to, or from person they’re cheating with.

If you’re not able to check the cheater’s phone, try checking the cell phone bill.
