Spend a significant amount of time on the Internet and you will likely see advertisements for websites that claim you can be paid to do things like read emails and take surveys. Some people would naturally assume that these claims can not be true. However, in some cases you can indeed be paid to read emails and to take surveys. The trick to being paid for performing these tasks is to find the right websites to become associated with.
The website The Survey Pro provides a list of some of the top websites that will pay you to take surveys. The information is free, and a bonus is provided if you sign up with at least fifteen of the sites they recommend. All the sites require the user to become a member, which can be as simple as providing an email address, user name and password.
One important thing to remember when signing up for these programs is that they are basically reward programs. Unless you are signed up with multiple websites, and are taking numerous surveys and redeeming multiple offers every day, you are unlikely to be able to make a living taking paid surveys and reading emails.
Here are several website worth checking out.
Sites such as DollarSurveys.net will pay from twenty-five cents and up to a dollar per survey; however, you must qualify for and complete the survey to receive credit. If you meet the demographic the survey sponsor is looking for, you will indeed receive your payment via PayPal. DollarSurveys.net also offers other opportunities to earn money, such as ten dollars if you apply for and are granted credit at a certain online retailer; or twenty-five dollars if you apply for and receive a certain credit card. Payment for surveys is generally granted quickly, and there is no minimum accumulation amount you must reach before receiving payment.
Inbox Dollars is another site that allows you to earn money for reading emails. Clicking on the link within a paid email will earn you two cents. You can also earn amounts ranging from twenty-five cents to twenty dollars through this site by taking surveys, applying for credit cards, accepting special offers, making purchases, watching videos, searching the Internet, referring friends or performing small tasks. You will automatically receive a bonus of three to five dollars when you sign up with Inbox Dollars. However, in order to receive a payment, you must accumulate at least thirty dollars in earnings. Payment is made in the form of a check.
MySurvey.com allows users to accumulate points and sweepstakes entries by taking surveys through email links, or through links at their website. Points may be redeemed for merchandise, gift cards, payments to PayPal, or charitable donations. There is no minimum accumulation level for points redemption, but there is a points requirement for each level of payment.
I-Say by Ipsos allows users to accumulate points by taking surveys. In addition, users receive a chance to win cash and prizes by playing the Poll Predictor game after each survey, whether they qualify to take the complete survey or not. Just clicking on a survey earns an entry into a monthly drawing for cash or points, and there are also quarterly drawings for cash prizes. Points may be redeemed for gift cards, charitable donations, electronic gift certificates, or cash through a check or via PayPal.
My Points is a website that allows members to accumulate points by clicking on links within emails, taking surveys, redeeming coupons, referring friends, and making purchases. Along with MySurvey.com and I-Say, MyPoints is one of the most up front websites of this type you will find on the Internet. Most emails they send out will allow the user to click on a link and receive five points. You will receive the five points whether you do anything else or not. You will not have to click on a second link, nor complete any other offer to receive your five points. However, if the link is to a website, such as Macys.com or BestBuy.com, where you can make a purchase of some kind, there is usually a points per each dollar spent the user will also earn. Users who do not qualify for the demographic survey sponsors are looking for will still earn at least five or ten points just for attempting the survey. Members may also earn as many as 5000 points at a time by requesting an auto or home insurance quote through a MyPoints link, and then actually purchasing the insurance policy. Points may be redeemed in the form of charitable donations, gift cards including VISA, donations to a charitable organization, or cash in the form of PayPal.
FusionCash is another website that will pay you to read emails, take surveys, watch videos, perform small tasks, complete offers, or make purchases. Each email read is worth two cents; however, members must usually click on a link within the email, which sends them to a second link they must click on before answering a puzzle question and leaving the link open for at least sixty seconds. Members must accumulate at least twenty-five dollars to request a payout, and if payouts are not claimed within 180 days the amount accrued is lost. Payouts can be in the form of a check, direct deposit, or PayPal.
There are many other websites that will also allow users to earn money from reading emails and taking surveys; however, as stated above, it is important to remember you are unlikely to be able to make a living performing these tasks. It is something that should be looked upon as a supplement to your regular income, or simply as something you like to do.
