How to create a workout routine with a busy lifestyle

Life is hectic, it doesn't always allow for you to have freedom. This can influence how your workouts go. Most of the time you plan to do a 45 minute workout hoping to reach their fitness goals. However, like I said earlier, life is hectic. There are points where you can not reach the full workout that you want. In those cases what do you do? How do you reach your fitness goals in half the time?

When life is bombarding you with social events, family obligations, and work schedules, you need to shorten your work out and intensify that workout at the same time. Your movements should become complex movements that will allow you to hit the most muscle groups at once. This will deliver a little more bang for your buck when it comes to intensity. Good example movements for this would be the Pushup(which is the best movement for overall fitness), or the Squat if you like to work with your own body weight.

When adding weights, the best route to follow would be complexes. This can be done with dumbbells or barbells. You take a couple movements and add it into a small routine. An example would be Squat and Press, followed by a Lunge and Curl, finishing with Bent over Rows. When doing these complexes you should aim for 8 reps in each position and shoot for three to four rounds. Of course have a resting period between each round to allow your body to recover.

Another route to use when it comes to quick fitness is to aim for what is called AMRAP. This is a concept where you take a few moves at set reps and try to complete as many rounds as possible within the time limits. A good example would be to do an AMRAP with 15 pushups, 20 squats, 10 burpees. This will work your upper body,core, lower body, and cardio all within a short period of time.

Don't let life take you down when you get busy. You can take a few moves an incorporate an amazing intense workout. Just remember to always push yourself and your busy schedule won't impede with your fitness goals!
