Learning how to cook healthy does not mean reinventing the wheel.
If you are concerned about giving up flavor, one great place to start is learning to make homemade salad dressings and sauces!
About homemade cooking:
Increasing the amount of greens in our diet can be as simple as learning to pair homemade salad dressings up with our vegetables and salads.
This heart healthy recipe can be used as a marinade, dipping sauce, or glaze as well as a tasty dressing.
I love sauces! Unfortunately, so many bottled dressings and sauces are mostly comprised of sugar or artificial, unhealthy sweeteners. Homemade foods ensure a way to eliminate (or moderate) sugar intake with our diets.
Reducing sugar cravings for those battling high blood sugar and diabetes is always a concern due to the added (and hidden) sugars found in bottled dressings.
