How to budget when you're broke (VIDEO)

One of the biggest arguments couples have is over finances. If money is tight budgeting is difficult and saving cash can feel near impossible. Above is a video designed to help you figure out how to budget and where to cut corners so you can save money for a rainy day.

Here are some other tips that can help you along:

Keep a spending journal: Take note of everything you buy from a latte a Starbucks to car payments.

Consider downsizing: If you find that you're really low on cash every month, and you're paying almost all of your money to rent it may be time for a change. Consider moving to a different area, taking on a roommate, renting out a room or even renting a smaller place.

Find free fun things to do: You don't have to break the bank to have a good time. Consider having a dance party at your house, where everyone brings their beverage of choice. Or wine tasting night, with the same parameters. Potlucks are key to fun and then there's the added bonus of a free meal.
