Very often people make repeated statements about what they desire in life that they do not currently have.
Sometimes these pleas are just casual remarks, but in other circumstances there are those who emphatically want something different.
You may be aware of what you would like to improve and constantly make declarations like, "Oh I wish I was thinner" or "I want to be songwriter" or "I can't stand this smoking habit of mine. I want to stop!"
However, you can do so much more than basically complaining in order to initiate the changes your gut instincts are telling you that you really could use.
Start with the process of rearranging the words in your intentions to the universe. Remember that thoughts are things and they carry energy.
If you are not comfortable saying specific affirmations that aren't necessarily true yet, you can begin by acknowledging your readiness and willingness to change for the better.
Frame your thoughts and feelings around a blueprint of self-improvement, co-creative manifestation, and readiness to heal your life. When you are willing to improve and open your mind, body, heart, and soul to receiving all that is good, then opportunities synchronistically appear.
Shifting your attitude and underlying beliefs is often the most difficult aspect of change. Taking physical action seems easier because it's usually based on common sense and rational understanding.
For example, if you want to lose weight, you probably realize the importance of eating healthily and exercising. If you desire more financial stability, you can follow steps to organize your checkbook, pay down debt, and cut extravagant spending.
Gandhi is famous for his quote relaying the message to be the change you wish to see in the world. In other words, you must live and become what you are yearning for.
Being the change you wish to see can be both simple and challenging.
If you want to be a writer, then simply write. If you want to help the environment, then simply help the environment. If you want to attract more romance, then simply be more romantic.
The challenging aspect related to change involves the underneath layers of fear, negative thought patterns, and unhealthy habits that can block progress or personal development.
To foster lasting self-improvement and evolution, you should include your whole self in the process - thoughts, feelings, actions, sense of purpose to your goal, and connection to a support system.
Affirmations: I am ready and willing to reveal my true self. When I honor my authentic self, I am naturally at ease and confident in my thoughts, feelings, actions, and relationships. My love and light shine through when I engage my whole self in becoming the person I was meant to be.
