How the universe was made and why?

When we think about the world around us we can’t help but awe at its magnitude and stare at it in wonder; asking the question how did it all get here? And is there really a God that created it? Or is it all just some cosmic soup spawned by a massive explosion that evolved into living entities through random chance over eons of time.

In Hebrews 11:3, the author illustrates how God created the universe out of nothing (creatio ex nihilo). But where did He come from? Nowhere, God has always existed. He never had a beginning and will never have an end. And He purposely planned and flawlessly executed the establishment of the entire creation.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was
made that has been made.” (John 1:1-3)

The Bible offers many verses that describe how God stretched out the heavens. Verses such as; Jeremiah 10:12, Isaiah 44:24, 45:12, 48:13, and 51:13 are all perfect illustrations of what science has proven about the universe.

Science has concluded that the universe had an original starting point then expanded out, and is still expanding today as was proven by Edwin Hubble in the 1920’s. Hubble used the most powerful telescope of that time and observed that distant galaxies were moving away from each other at a high rate of speed as they traveled away from earth, similar to the “Big Bang” theory. Illustrating once again how science continues to prove the validity of scripture.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim
the work of his hands.” (Psalms 19:1)

Now the earth is unique. It was made to support life. Why? Because God in His infinite love desired to fellowship with people from all walks of life, and offer to share with them the wonders of heaven forever. And He chose this thing called life as the vehicle for those who have the faith to believe.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
               (John 3:16)

When the last person who accepts His free, limited time offer of salvation has done so the offer will expire, and the window of opportunity will shut, just as it did for those who refused to enter the Ark with Noah. (Genesis 7:16)
