The Denver Broncos currently have the 25th selection in the first round of the draft. Unlike last year when the Broncos had the second pick in the draft and were almost assured a game changing player, the 25th selection in the draft does not come with any guarantees. The Broncos are expected to select a defensive tackle with their first round draft pick.
However with a draft that is very deep on the defensive side it would be wise for the Broncos to try and trade down and pick up another selection or two. If the Broncos could trade their late 1st round pick in exchange for 2 early second rounders the Broncos would be in a much better position to address the many needs this team still has.
