Recently, we listed the “Dirty 30” – those companies that top the list of global polluters.
On a more positive note, the annual Dow Jones Sustainability Index has just been released, listing those corporations that are making the most significant strides in being environmentally responsible.
Since 1999, the research firm RobecoSAM has asked some 2500 of the largest public companies worldwide to report on their sustainability performance, focusing on governance, social and environmental criteria. The results of the analysis provide investors, consumers and green business owners with a benchmark to help them back “best of class” sustainability leaders.
