The Kardashians just wrapped the ninth season of their family's reality show, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." And while ratings on the series weren't what they once were, they are still doing quite good, and, as a result, the show's stars continue raking in the cash.
According to a new report, the cast of the E! series makes a whopping $10 million for appearing on the show. However, that isn't $10 million per star -- it's $10 million shared.
"It pays off to let cameras follow you around 24/7 — literally! The Kardashian family made millions off of Season 9 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians," Hollywood Life reported on Sept. 2, citing TV Guide Magazine‘s annual “Who Makes What” report as their source.
While the amount may not seem like much, considering the Kardashian/Jenner family consists of over 10 people, being on the show pays off in other ways for each of its stars. In addition to their show salary, the Kardashians are getting tons of exposure, which leads to an increase in sales of their products, higher appearance fees and other career opportunities.
In 2012, E! signed a deal with the family that would keep them on the air for three additional seasons. But with the way things are going with the family, it's hard to think they'll stop there. After all, with great ratings for E! and a happy and well-paid cast, this appears to be a long-lasting partnership.
