Although “Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance” is coming out for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, it is not being planned for the recently-released Nintendo Wii U console. When asked about the possibility of a port through Twitter on Feb. 1, Jean Pierre Kellams provided a brief explanation as to what it will take for Platinum Games to develop a Nintendo Wii U version. You can check out some screens from the action-adventure video game in the slideshow at the top of this article and the comments from the game writer below (courtesy of the PG_jp Twitter):

Platinum Games is the main development studio behind “Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance.” Kojima Productions also helped out with the project by working on the story and cut scenes.

Konami Digital Entertainment will be publishing the spin-off “Metal Gear” video game when it launches for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on Feb. 19. You can pre-order the title in the following link: behind “Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance”
