The Internet is still a new frontier that we are still finding ways to utilize and improve, but it’s interesting to look back 10 to 15 years and see how far we have actually come in the development of the all powerful world wide web. Just think about the possibilities that we now have! The world as we know it has been streamlined, and it has never been easier to connect with it.
It’s incredible to think that as a whole of every internet user across the globe, only 5 billion gigabytes of data had been generated by the year 2003. In the current state of the internet, we generate an average of 5 billion gigabytes every 10 minutes! This is an insane developmental rate, and as long as this continues over the next 10 years, who could even imagine how quickly we will be transmitting, downloading, and communicating information?
