How I Met Your Mother” main character, Ted Mosby, made no secret that he loved his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio during the show’s nine seasons. Now, even though the show has ended, Ted is reacting to LeBron James decision to return to Cleveland and play for the Cavaliers, Hollywood News Daily reported on Monday, July 14.

Actor Josh Radnor took on his beloved character of Ted Mosby yet again to show fans just how Ted would have reacted to the huge news that LeBron James is coming home.

Throughout the nine seasons of CBS’ hit series “How I Met Your Mother,” fans watched as Ted not only searched for the love of his life, and told his future children all about it, he also referenced Cleveland, Ohio many times.

Whether he and the gang were at the Yankees/Indians game, or his high school best friend’s Cleveland Browns themed wedding, or he was just portraying the pain that the rest of the real Clevelanders felt about LeBron’s departure to the Miami Heat in 2010, Ted really understood the pain of the Cleveland sports fan.

It seems that if “How I Met Your Mother” were still on the air the story of LeBron James returning to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers after leaving so abruptly four years ago would have been a big on for Ted. In fact, it could have possibly even been the subject of an entire episode.

Although the show is over, Josh Radnor reprising his role for a quick, but funny, video posted exclusively to Entertainment Weekly’s website, only proves that the actor will always love Ted Mosby, and carry a part of his “How I Met Your Mother” character around with him for as long as he lives.

What did you think of “How I Met Your Mother” character Ted Mosby’s reaction to LeBron James’ return to Cleveland?
