Show runners for the popular sitcom, "How I Met Your Mother" say that Barney and Robin, the two notorious commitment fearing people, will get married this season, reports Carter Matt on March 1. What many fans are wondering, as we already knew that they at least made it to the chapel they were getting married at, is when they are going to make the final leap.
According to CBS, the season finale, which will likely also be the big day for the couple, is May 13. There is no word as to whether it will be an hour long special or the regular half hour programming. One thing is also for sure, if Barney and Robin are really getting married, that means we should meet Ted's wife just before the season ends. Barney's bachelor party will be shown in episode 21, where many are kind of hoping that Ted meets his wife.
With "How I Met Your Mother" closing in on their show-- the next season will be the ninth and final season-- fans want to know who the mother is considering the entire show is based off of this one mysterious person that we've never met. Many fans are simply ready to meet her and be done with it.
