"How I Met Your Mother" is getting ready for season nine on CBS, and now fans are being given another glimpse at the set. On Monday, Sept. 2, Spoiler TV shared a new behind the scenes photo from the set shared by a member of the cast. Anna Camp has joined the series for the final season, and the photo came from her Instagram. Check out the previously released photos for the first two episodes of the season at this link.
Anna Camp was just seen on "True Blood" season six as Sarah Newlin, and now the actress is taking on comedy. The actress has replaced Ellie Kemper on CBS. Camp will now take on the role of Carrie during the season, according to the Christian Post. The photo she shared shows off some chairs for the cast on set.
Josh Radnor, the actor behind Ted on the series, is currently out promoting a film project, and he spoke about the end of the series in a new interview with Collider. He said the following about the finale for the series:
"They’ve told me some of the arcs of this season. The narrative character knows everything. Whether or not he’s a reliable narrator is a question for PhD students to hash out in their thesis about How I Met Your Mother. But, the character that I play doesn’t have all that information. He’s playing it forward. It’s helped me to have more naivete about what’s about to happen."
Production began on this final season back in July, and the final season will arrive on CBS later this month. The season nine premiere is set for Sept. 23.
