A stake out van would have been much better
Storm Troopers are not robots. If we did not learn anything from this week’s episode of How I Met Your Mother, we did learn that. Even though it is sad to think that all those Storm Troopers that die on the Death Star were people and not robots. (They were actually clones according to Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, but lets not get technical)
On the seventh episode of Season 5, Robin and Barney have been together to the point that they are cancelling each other out. Two head strong people often find it difficult to be in a relationship. This effect has caused Robin to look much older then she is, and Barney to gain a lot of weight.
In traditional HIMYM style, we see an over exaggerated version of what the couple looks like. Especially with Barny, the fat suit that Neil Patrick Harris is wearing makes him look completely different.
“The Rough Patch” was funny from start to finish. The fact that Ted owns a double DVD/VCR player made it all worth it. Speaking of Ted, I think that just like last week, his character was perfect at all times. The smile he made before he started watching the porn was classic. His lines in the “stake out” station wagon were on point. Even desire to break up Robin and Barney made perfect sense.
Do not want to spoil the ending of this one. I will say I was shocked at the end result happening as quickly as it did.

I was sitting around all week wondering. I think Marshall and Lily were the best when they walked out Ted's apartment with the porn they stolen.
First, I still don't understand how you all sit and watch this show...I tried, but can't get into it. CLEARLY watching it would have explained how "storm troopers" had anything to do with this, for I did not put 2 and 2 together with the Star War series....now that was a good trilogy (IMHO)....but I am digressing...
I agree that clashing of two very strong personalities can start to wear on you physically. This is a lesson I had to learn the hard way, but I am so glad for that journey (much stronger now).
By accident, I flipped threw the my TV stations and accidently found the show and saw NPH fat suit...it threw me off, but still I was not motivated to watch.....sorry...maybe next week.
Interesting, I definitely agree with two strong headed people being in a relationship and the side effects. A bit accurate if I should say so myself.

@ Lainey Storm Troopers were spoken about many times during the episode. A lot of people watch the show because it is not only funny, it is set in reality. Very current topics.

Yes his smile before he started watching that porn was a 5 star smile. LOL!
And yes two strong headed ppl will have their differences but I think but of them are smart enough to respect that trait in the other and not make a battle out of everything.

@ Ladyjay he was like a kid in a candy store lol. I think that people like Robin and Barney can make it work, they just have to learn to compromise. But that is why Lily said they are the nice word for selfish "independent"
