Marshall and Lily sipping on some Moet
Shut the bagpipe up!
Episode 6 of Season 5 was classic HIMYM style the entire night. Future Ted replacing sex with bagpipes for his children’s sake. A very fast cold opening and then the three boys are at the bar. Barney creates a great imagination of how things would be if he was married to Lily. A quick slap bet between Ted and Marshall. Ted totally brushing off everything Barney says. Ted’s disgust at himself for actually given Barney a high five. And of course Ted mentioning that he and Robin were once together.
This episode could have been titled Worst Couple Ever or Best Couple Ever. Marshall and Lily have always prided them selves in being the greatest couple in the world. This falls apart because Marshall takes relationship advice from Barney of all people. As Marshall and Lily get worse, it seems that Barney and Robin are better then ever. Only thing is Ted is not buying it.
The reason the episode is called Bagpipes is because that is what helps Ted crack the mystery of why Barney and Robin are doing so well.
Speaking of Barney and Robin, we really need a nick name for those two. Barbin or maybe Roney? If any one has a suggestion on that leave a comment below or send me an email.

Marshall “I will wash my manhood when I am good and ready!”
Ted speaking about his old neighbors “...so I welcomed then to the building, had a hard candy, nodded politely at some racist comments, and left”
Barney in his first fight with Robin “How could you possibly agree with Lily, she is shorter then him”
What made this episode the greatest was seeing Marshall and Lily drinking some Moet at the very end. See the writers of this show understand what good drinking is about. They could have had them pouring some cheap stuff, but they knew better.

I agree that the writers did a good job adding details to the show such as the scene with the Moet. The comic relief added in with the serious relationship issues is also priceless.
