"How I Met Your Mother" is currently airing on Channel 5 in Tempe. On Thursday, Feb. 14, Seat42F shared the photos released for "How I Met Your Mother" episode 8.17 titled "The Ashtray." On the episode teased in these new photos, Ted will receive a call from The Captain, and this will lead the group to remember their last awkward encounter with him. As for Robin and Barney, TV Line shared new spoilers for the series. Now that Barney and Robin are engaged, they are ready to take the next step in their relationship. The site revealed the following:
"First comes love, then comes marriage, but in-between, there’s… cohabitation! In “The Fortress of Barnitude,” Barney — presumably in preparation for moving in with his fiancée — holds an open house in hopes of unloading his bachelor pad. (Cue flashbacks to one-night stands in 3, 2… ) Somehow, along the way, at least one potential buyer is given the impression that Ted and Marshall are a couple — and Lily, an intolerant homophobe."
No word on when this episode will air, but it is set for season eight. "How I Met Your Mother" has been renewed for a ninth and final season by CBS. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
