"How I Met Your Mother" will be returning for the second half of season eight soon, but, in the meantime, on Jan. 10, "HIMYM" and CBS released some spoiler photos for episode 8.13 titled "Band or DJ?" Check out the photos here.
As the episode title implies, Robin (Cobie Smulders) and Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) will be jumping into wedding planning, but there's just one problem: Barney never asked Robin's dad (Ray Wise) for permission to wed his daughter. As HIMYM tweeted, "It's a Stinson/Scherbatsky faceoff!"
This will, of course, lead to Barney accepting few challenges to get Mr. Scherbatsky's permission and approval. But will Barney be able to win Robin's dad over in the end?
Elsewhere, Ted (Josh Radnor) isn't taking the engagement news very well. As any "normal" guy would do, he decides to ignore those feelings and help plan the wedding anyway. Lily (Alyson Hannigan) and Marshall (Jason Segel) may have a thing or two to say about that.
"How I Met Your Mother" airs on CBS Monday nights at 8 p.m. EST.
