Kristen Bell is pregnant - really pregnant. While she isn’t due until the spring, pregnancy is very apparent on Bell’s petite frame. However, Kristen’s character on “House of Lies” is not pregnant. US Weekly revealed strategies the show is using to hide Kristen’s baby bump on Jan. 22.
Bell and her fiancé, Dax Shepard of NBC’s “Parenthood,” are expecting their first child. Kristen seems to be enjoying pregnancy and has cracked jokes about her weight gain on Twitter and talk shows, including David Letterman. Bell has also said pregnancy hormones are making her dumb and extra nice.
Fortunately, the pregnancy hasn’t interfered with filming of Showtime’s “House of Lies.” Kristen said she loves working on the show more than she “can possibly explain.” Since Bell’s character on the show isn’t pregnant and she so obviously is sporting a very obvious baby bump, the show has had to be very creative when filming her. Kristen said her stomach is now constantly hid behind boxes and purses while on film.
“House of Lies” wraps filming for the season in February, which will give Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard some time to enjoy the end of the pregnancy before the baby’s big arrival.
