There are Biblical principles that do not change in spite of being politically correct in one segment of time. Christian denominations that are suppose to subscribe to Christian teaching are importing secular humanistic standards that oppose the very standards established by God.
God does not tolerate sin. It is becoming increasingly apparent that there is a revamping of doctrines that are so controversial that some denominations are in danger of losing their status as a Christian church.
Supplementing the Bible
Misguided efforts to have the Koran and Bible preached from the same platform is a dangerous and foolish undertaking. There can be no reconciliation when Yahweh God declares “there is no other god besides Me”.
There can be no common ground with two separate distinct deities. Allah is a moon god picked from nearly 300 Arab deities by Mohammed. The compromise is too vast for any type of deity sharing without offending somebody.
Interfaith prayer
Those looking to mold all faith into one uniform prayer cannot be effectively or accurately done. Both Christians and Jews have Yahweh God, however the Jews reject Jesus being the Son of God. The Muslim consider Jesus a prophet only and the inscription inside their “Dome of the Rock” on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem states “God has no Son”.
The Hindus are polytheistic while the Buddhists believe there are no gods at all. The atheists, secular humanists and perhaps agnostics can get along because an existence in any god is considered an impossibility.
Attempting to reconcile these extremely different viewpoints would be high drama. Somebody would drastically compromise their faith by trying to participate in an interfaith prayer. Conceptually it is a fine idea, however realistically it cannot be done.
The Israel Question
God does not change His mind, and the Bible clearly states that Israel is “the apple of God’s eye” and “My fig tree”. Strangely there are Christian denominations pushing a replacement theology that says God has abandon Israel….a totally bogus teaching. Prophesy clearly deals with God restoring Israel in the end times, so those babbling about God giving up on Israel have no clue about Bible or Jewish history, present or future. I will bless those that bless you and curse those that curse you is an eternal promise from God.
Same Sex Marriage
Those denominations tragically trying to incorporate the politically correct position of same sex marriage are bending their knee to “because they loved the praises of men more than the praises of God”. Attempting to legitimize homosexuality through same sex marriage works no more than trying to validate any other sexual sin that is forbidden in the Bible.
Scripture in the old and new testaments are ignored to prop up a lifestyle that has only recently been popularized and considered socially acceptable. God does not sanction against something in one part of the Bible and allow it somewhere else.
Abortion
The moral repugnance of abortion would NEVER be considered merely an act of choice, but an act of barbaric sin. The shedding of innocent blood is flatly forbidden, and there is no more innocent blood than that of a baby in the mother’s womb. Whether life begins at conception or when actually birthed, the potential human being deserves the right to life.
The Bible stipulation of “before you were in your mother’s womb, I knew thee” suggests that life begins far before our understanding believes it does.
There is also other contrary doctrine being spun such as being more than one way to heaven, the Bible is not the infallible word of God, there was no virgin birth, and Jesus didn’t really die on the cross; neither did He resurrect.
One needs to study to show one approved so one can rightly divide the word of truth. The Bible warns of false teaching, heresies, and doctrines of demons that would undermine the high standard of the Holy Scriptures.
The Bible is the most scrutinized book in history and it still far exceeds the standard for extreme credibility and accuracy.
