The sad and certainly premature death of Whitney Houston rightfully has the Internet buzzing, with the biggest question being the most simple: How did Whitney Houston die?
The cause of death is still a bit unknown, but TMZ is starting to help us fill in the blanks.

First, Whitney was found dead in her bathtub, and it’s possible that the singer may have gone unconscious in the bath and subsequently drowned.

Second, pills were found in Whitney’s room. That’s not necessarily noteworthy depending on what pills were found, but TMZ is reporting that one of the bottles contained Xanax, which helps those who are suffering from anxiety or panic disorders.
While the death of Whitney Houston remains a bit of a mystery, CBS News also is reporting that an autopsy will be performed on the singer later today. We still don’t know how long after the autopsy is performed when the true reasoning behind how Whitney Houston died will be revealed.
Only time will tell.
