How Catholics/Christians are being betrayed--today--for thirty pieces of silver

See also

This is certainly one of the most painfully deep passages in Sacred Scripture:

"One of the Twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, 'What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?' They paid him thirty pieces of silver, and from that time on he looked for an opportunity to hand him over." Matthew 26:14-25

Think about it.

Judas is one of the Twelve. He is one of 12 specially appointed men blessed to supreme spiritual, and fraternal, intimacy with Jesus Christ, the Word of God. He is named, distinctively, forever, as the man who represents apostasy, heresy, and anti-Christian betrayal. And to make matters worse, his accomplices are priests! Judas sells Jesus for a mere thirty pieces of silver...and the religious leaders buy Him, cheap, in order to kill him.

Now that you've swallowed such a bitter pill, consider that you, as disciples of the Lord, are being sold for much less right now!

For thirty pieces of silver...

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has stood up FOR Common Core Curriculum in Catholic Schools. Yes, Catholic Bishops in America have endorsed a curriculum which promotes governmental tyranny instead of educational choice, and supports anti-Christian values in Catholic Schools. If you don't believe me, contact your local bishop.

It seems authentic Catholic education is being sold cheap.

The United States Government, represented by former pot smokers such as Barack Obama and Eric Holder, are officially endorsing legalized marijuana, even when Harvard University and Northwestern University have come out with scientific proof that marijuana use (even occasional), leads to unalterable brain abnormalities--changes in brain structure.

It seems that our young people's minds are being sold cheap.

Every day, thousands of illegal aliens are flooding across our borders to minimum interference by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers; yet, thousands of cattle ranchers in Nevada have been harassed, and shut down, by the federal government's Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in order to secure land for foreign (Communist China) solar companies.

It seems freedom, the democratic voter base, and our land, are being sold cheap.

No longer can the New York City Police Department snoop on suspicious Moslem activity in a city which was viciously attacked (remember 9/11?--or, for that matter, the Boston Bombing?) by Islamic fundamentalists. Besides the fact that New York has a very high Moslem population, and reputable government sources have it that there are ties to terror links in local communities, New York City Mayor Bill Di Blasio (Democrat/Socialist) has ruled that this is an infringement on New York Moslem's Constitutional Rights. How about the NSA's snooping on EVERYONE? How about the IRS and their harassment of conservative/Pro-Life groups? Where is the same compassion for Christianity within the HHS mandate?

It seems that our safety, and our Judaeo-Christian way of life are being sold cheap.

April 15th has just past. Millions of people are on food stamps, and the number is growing. The (fraudulent) unemployment number remains stagnant, which doesn't even consider the millions who have quit looking for work (yours truly included). Our debt clock, if you consider that those fast twitching numbers are our children's growing debt, is digital insanity! And let's not forget that the 17 Trillion doesn't even count the interest we owe! But let's consider some other things. Obama keeps weakening our national defense. Our debt keeps going up. If a weakening America owes so very much to debtors, won't they, some day, come for payment? And if we can't pay, what then? And taxes keep going up and up. Only big government is getting bigger, fatter, greedier, comfortable, and more diabolically powerful.

It seems like America is getting sold real cheap.
