“How Can I’ is Greek for soulful-sexy “tzaz” jazz

This particular song is written and performed by Panayiota Tentzou. She sings a soulful-sexy, tension filled song, further enhanced by her range of vocals which tug at the heart, body and soul. ‘How Can I’ is a song filled with conflict and varying emotions.

It is easy to imagine this song featured in a classic ‘Miami Vice’ episode with one of the characters from the show involved in a dangerous encounter with a love interest, with the song ‘How Can I’ interwoven throughout the episode. The song would actually help advance the story line with lyrics such as “I know what people say, I must be moving on just to hurt you. Yeah, I know its true but it’s hard to do. So I keep searching for your heart. I know I tried too much just to find you. You belong to me. I can make you see. You see, I know what people say. A broken heart is the game I play, crying my heart out. So you’ll hear my voice baby one more time.” It would not be hard to imagine an entire episode written around the lyrics to this song.

Christos Yermenoglou lends his skilled talents on drums. Filippos Kostavelis sets the mood of the song on keyboards. Agamemnon Mardas provides the foundation to the song on bass, Stelios Tsompanidis contributes masterfully on percussions and Charis Kapetanakis on tenor saxophone contributes elegantly to make this song a soulful-sexy composition.
