Whether it’s an unexpected tenant’s move-out or maybe just a great pre-season sale on landscaping materials, some times what you really need are some extra square feet. You don’t have time to build an addition and the costs would be unrealistic anyhow. Enter the self-storage unit you can rent by the month or year.
There are probably no less than a hundred reasons you might find yourself needing more square feet, but in probably 90% of them, a temporary storage space can save the day. So where do you go to find the perfect temporary storage site? The Yellow Pages? How old school.
Luckily there’s an app for that, or well…at least a website. Check out SpareFoot.com. Type in your Zip Code and out spits a list of the storage spaces closest to you. Prices – sizes – contact info – everything you need to make an immediate decision.
They’ve even got extra resources on their site to help with moving:
- How to Properly Store the U.S. Flag (great info in advance of July 4)
If you’re one of the 36 million Americans that will move each year, this could be a great site for you as well.
