The Houston Rockets vs. the Portland Trail Blazers tips off Game 6 of their best of seven series in round one of the 2014 NBA playoffs tonight, according to a May 2 Bleacher Report report. The Rockets trail the Trail Blazers two to three, so tonight is do or die for the Houston Rockets. This game will air on live TV, and if you are unable to catch it on TV, a free Rockets vs. Trail Blazers live stream is also available.

Last night, Oklahoma City was in the same situation as Houston, and they were able to force a game seven on the road. Can the Rockets do the same thing at the Moda Center at the Rose Quarter in Portland, Oregon tonight? Houston fans certainly hope so. However, Trail Blazers fans are hoping their team secures a victory at home tonight, which would end the series and propel the team to round two of the 2014 NBA playoffs.

If Houston can win tonight, it will be the second time the team has staved off elimination in this series. The Rockets have battled back from a 3-1 deficit in the Western Conference quarterfinals. However, if Portland can win either tonight or in Game 7, it will be the team's first time to advance to the second round of the NBA playoffs since the 2000/2001 season.

Portland could just advance tonight if LaMarcus Aldridge has a better game. Of course, if Rockets star James Harden stops struggling, then perhaps he could lead his team to a victory, giving them a chance to win the series at home in game seven. Another bright spot for Houston is Jeremy Lin. If he repeats his game five performance, then they have a good chance in Game 6 tonight.

Be sure to tune in tonight to watch the Rockets vs. Trail Blazers game starting at 9:30 p.m. EDT on ESPN and KGW or CSNH depending on your market. If you are unable to watch this exciting game six between Houston and Portland, you can catch a live stream video on WatchESPN.
