Regardless of how well the Houston Rockets have been playing thus far in the NBA season, one has to question the consistency of this team.
James Harden has been a blessing to Houston; no doubt about it.
In Daryl Morey we trust.
Morey has once again proven to be a savior in terms of saving this team.
Harden, who was recently selected to the All-Star team as a reserve, has been a phenomenal pick up for the Houston Rockets.
In fact, Harden has been nothing short of amazing since donning Rockets red.
If anyone questioned Harden's leadership skills prior to him landing in Houston, I am fairly confident that all those doubts have been wiped away.
Morey was also responsible for building a team around Harden, and it appears as though Morey may have once again hit the lottery.
Others questioned Morey signing the likes of Jermey Lin and Omer Asik to long terms deals.
Now, as has rung true before, Morey is looking more and more like a NBA genius.
My biggest question marks surrounding this team has nothing to do with chemistry or coaching; I have no doubt Morey has the right people in place.
The biggest obstacle for this team is playing consistent basketball.
If these Houston Rockets can learn to maximize on the little things night-in and night-out -- rebounding, boxing out, solid defense, hitting free throws -- they could very well be heading deep into postseason play.
But until they learn to win on a consistent basis, the 2013 team could still be a work in progress.
Regardless of how it all plays out, it has been and will continue to be a whole lot of fun to watch...
