Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to release concert schedule on Monday, Jan. 7

On February 25, 2013, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will kick-off with bull riding, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing and the ever-popular mutton bustin'.

World class competitors will be vying for over $2 million in prize money in the "world’s largest livestock show and rodeo dedicated to benefiting youth, supporting education, and facilitating better agricultural practices through exhibitions and presentation" as quoted from the rodeo's official website.

In addition to world class competition, rodeo fans will be treated to nightly musical entertainment after the scheduled events on the floor of Reliant Stadium.

The official musical lineup will be released on Monday, Jan. 7 at a 10 a.m. press conference and will be posted shortly after on their website at RodeoHouston.com.

Four performances have already been announced previously.

They include Toby Keith on Feb. 25, Demi Lovato and Austin Mahone on Mar. 3, Jason Aldean on Mar. 11 and Luke Bryan on Mar. 16.
