Houston dog adoption corner: Meet Sadie the cocker spaniel

Sadie is a beautiful black cocker spaniel (with a patch of white on her chest) who is looking for a forever home. She appears to have a bit of English cocker in her and loves to play with other dogs (especially her foster cocker brother). Sadie was born in February, 2009 and even has her American Kennel Club (AKC) paperwork. Unfortunately her previous owner had to give her up due to landlord troubles but their loss can be your gain.

Sadie is crate trained, spayed and fully vetted. Sadie does have juvenile cataracts but it does not affect her vision very much and her veterinarian said it might go away on its own (although surgery is also an option down the road since Sadie is an excellent candidate).

If you would like to meet Sadie or learn more about her, please contact Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue by sending them an e-mail here. To view more photos of Sadie, click here.
