STATUS: ADOPTED!
Alice (9267024) is a young adult Pit Bull who is very happy, intelligent and playful. She loves to snuggle and is currently enrolled in a training class with her foster mom.
Alice likes to play enthusiastically with her toys when she cannot get another dog to get off the couch and join in. She is not aggressive but she does like to play rough.
Alice is completely housetrained and is even vocal when she needs to go potty. She likes to go for car rides and sometimes chases her own tail.
Do not miss out on this wonderful dog!
Note: There are some pre-conceptions about Pit Bulls and other “bully” breeds; however, they make fantastic pets and deserve loving homes just like any other dog.

To meet Alice or for questions, please contact her foster parent by using the link found on her web listing by visiting the CAP dog adoption pages here.

Good looking dog..good luck finding a home Alice!
It is sad that some people take these sweet dogs and train them to be killers. Glad there is one that has a sweet disposition. Hope it finds a loving home.
Oh Alice is a doll! So cute! Hope she finds a great home.
Love this series... You are doing good work!

Thanks for making that point! Some cities don't even give this breed a chance to get adopted.
Cute looking dog!
Hope she finds a perfect home. :)
I love your articles on the Houston dog adoption corner.
I am in the skeptical about pit bulls camp.
I wish more dogs were vocal about wanting to go outside. Only one of our dogs learned a bark was a much better way of getting bladder relief than just standing quietly by the back door until someone wondered where they went.
I hope Alice finds a good home soon.

Alice is a real cutie. Hope someone adopts her soon!
Some of the sweetest dogs I've ever known were pit bulls. More than 83% of pit bulls tested passed the American Temperament Test. Some of them have made great assistance animals, which have to be dependable. I wish Alice a happy home and a bright future.
I would take Alice home if I could
She is a beautiful girl, thank you!
Good luck Alice.
I agree... Alice looks like a Sweetheart... AND I think you are doing good work trying to find her home. I'm reminded of Mother Teresa's saying, "We do no great things... only small things with great love." Wishing the best for Alice...
So glad she was adopted. She's cute!!
I love the way Alice looks she seems sweet in her pictures. Great work Bobbi and I know you are helping to find these wonderful dogs great homes.
