Houston brides have just discovered a new tool to make planning their wedding a whole lot easier. Fast, fun and easy, it’s found on the Linen Queen Design Works website. This new tool, called the Virtual Design Center allows brides, or anyone planning any celebration for that matter, to experiment with different linen looks. First choose the tablecloth in any of the hundreds of colors and fabrics offered. Then try out coordinating overlays, chair covers, chair ties and napkins until you find just the look you love. Even brides who eschew the chair cover for a chiavari chair can create that look by instead choosing a cushion cover in any of the dozens of colors offered.
Maybe you're dreaming of an eggplant and citron color scheme but can't quite commit to such a bold look. No worries. Put it all together in the Virtual Design Center to get just the right balance. I personally like an eggplant lamour tablecloth, an ivory chair cover accented with matching citron lamour chair ties and napkins, as is shown in the rendering above left. You don't have to take my style advice, though. The Virtual Design Center will let you experiment with any combination you can imagine and then you can see it for yourself. A word of warning: the nearly unlimited combinations can be addictive.
This nifty tool allows you to search the vast linen database by color, style or linen. You may even be thinking of stripes and polka dots together. It might just work but don’t wait for the wedding for validation. The Virtual Design Center will show you the striped tablecloth with the polka dot chair tie and coordinating napkin. Now, you can plan your wedding linens with confidence knowing your reception will be truly memorable — in a really good way!
