Houston: A Tuesday night out at Taps house of beers, Tipsy Clover and 1820

Tuesday nights have become a fast favorite of mine when it comes to Houston night life. There are many bars that run their best specials on Tuesdays.

Taps house of beers is a newer bar on Washington that has over 100 beers on tap. On Tuesday nights they serve up big Texas beers for $2 and $4. While sipping on your favorite beer you can partake in their back patio games they have corn hole and bocci ball. If patio games are not your thing they have old school board games to play as well as Golden tee and shuffle board.

Tuesday nights at Midtown's Tipsy Clover has been a staple to those who venture out on Tuesday nights. They offer up $2 wells and $2 domestic beers all night long. With the drinks as cheap as they are it is no wonder why The Clover has been dubbed "Tispy Tuesdays". While drinking your $2 cocktail they have pool, Golden tee, and other video games that you can play.

1820 lounge downtown has been a favorite spot on Tuesdays when the Houston Astro's play a home game. Every Tuesday night home game they offer up free Astro's tickets to the first 100 people that come to the bar. Thier resident bartender/manager Mike is so friendly and welcoming he will have you coming back for more than just free Astro's tickets. Let them take care of you on Tuesday, relax and enjoy the tail end of the baseball season.
