If you haven't recorded or caught a House Hunters International show on television or on line, perhaps it's time you start. Tonight, Thursday, February 7, 2013 HGTV, will be airing an episode on Puerto Penasco, Mexico better known to most American's as Rocky Point.
For those unfamiliar with this popular series, each episode features home buyers looking for their perfect spot in Paradise. More than just an inside look into real estate properties available for sale, each episodes showcases the international destination the new buyer will enjoy.
The applicants picked by House Hunters International look at their top 3 choices of properties to buy. Dan Monroe, Realty Executive agent in Puerto Penasco just happened to be lucky enough to be the buyer's original realtor before the show even became a reality. The couple on tonight's show has a very special story. Not only did trips to Puerto Penasco bring happiness and fond memories at the beach, it also helped their two autistic children find tranquility. Dan Monroe known as "Rocky Point Dan" stated " the couple discovered trips to Rocky Point helped their kids respond better and find new found peace, so they decided to buy, " Dan also adds, "not only is the family happier, Rocky Point is the big winner." It's true, with international media; folks from all over the world will be shown our little piece of paradise.
After 5 days of shooting with a 5 person crew, even the teams from House Hunters International were amazed at the proximity of Puerto Penasco to Phoenix, AZ and astonished at the price points around the waterfront. Yes, amazingly enough, ocean front condos start below $100,000. In Puerto Penasco, they are betting the team from New York, and perhaps a few other newcomers inspired by the story, will be back to buy their own little slice of heaven.
House Hunters International airs new episodes every weekday, the Puerto Penasco episode premieres tonight at 8:30 pm and 11:30 pm mountain standard time. After the premiere you can watch it online anytime at HGTV.
