Atlanta Marc by Marc Jacobs fans, his Fall 2012 fashion show sizzled at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at the N.Y. State Armory on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2012 in New York City.
The pewter leather coat is beyond delicious and the gunmetal grey dress it tops looks pretty promising as well. His menswear pewter trench coat is spot-on as well as is the dark taupe trench that topped the royal blue pants – yum!
Speaking of royal blue, the cap-sleeved frock with the full skirt, paired with the chunky boots is so retro – I’m thinking 1980’s…
I like the way the women’s black trench coat is belted with the leather belt and worn with the crisp white shirt and red pants – I’ll be bringing out my red pants to pair with my black trench coat to create the exact look, teaming it with the thick black plaid framed glasses!
The black striped sundress, worn again with the ankle boots is simply gorgeous, as is the luscious laser cut grey velvet dress and the red and deep blue floral frock.
Another thing that sets apart this collection by Marc Jacobs is his Russian style hats he uses as accessories, paired with the chunky boots, nerdy glasses and that deep red lipstick – it’s all good!
And lastly, may I add how incredibly hot Marc Jacobs looked as he came out in his man-skirt (kilt?) to acknowledge the crowd for a job well done?
