All of the major conferences in college basketball have teams of cheerleaders that are pretty hot. What some people may not know though, is that some of the mid-major college basketball teams also have squads of hot cheerleaders.
These are the hottest college basketball cheerleaders from mid-major teams. I've tried to include many cheerleaders from mid-major teams that are often in the NCAA Tournament, so fans can get a chance to see them in the tournament.
Hottest college basketball cheerleaders from mid-major teams
- Butler Bulldogs cheerleaders
The Butler Bulldogs have one co-ed squad of cheerleaders consisting of roughly 15 to 18 women, and nine to ten men. The Butler cheerleaders perform at both men's and women's college basketball games, as well as at football games and volleyball matches.
With two Final Four appearances, and two championship game appearances over the last couple of years, the Butler cheerleaders have gotten plenty of publicity and media attention.
- BYU cheerleaders
The BYU Cougars always have a lot of good looking cheerleaders. Since BYU is usually pretty decent in college basketball, the BYU cheerleaders tend to get a decent amount of media attention.
- Belmont Bruins cheerleaders
The Belmont Bruins out of the Ohio Valley conference have a co-ed squad consisting of roughly 15 cheerleaders. Belmont University is located in Nashville, Tennessee.
- UNLV Rebels cheerleaders
The University of Nevada at Las Vegas always has some hot cheerleaders on its squads. The UNLV Rebels have two cheer squads, one co-ed and one all-women, and an all-women dance team called the Rebels Girls.
- San Diego State Aztecs cheerleaders
The San Diego State Aztecs have two sets of cheerleaders, one co-ed and one all-women, and an all-women dance team. All three sets of cheerleaders perform at San Diego State college basketball games.
- Montana Grizzlies cheerleaders
Believe it or not, but the Montana Grizzlies usually have some pretty hot women on their cheer squads. Montana has a co-ed squad of cheerleaders, and an all-women dance team that both perform at basketball games. You can't miss the Montana cheerleaders, they have Griz written on their uniforms.
- Gonzaga Bulldogs cheerleaders
The Gonzaga Bulldogs have a 16 member co-ed squad of cheerleaders that performs at its basketball games. Gonzaga usually has a very good basketball team, they make the NCAA Tournament in most years, so their cheerleaders do get national exposure.
- New Mexico State Aggies cheerleaders
The New Mexico State Aggies have two squads of cheerleaders. While both squads are co-ed, there are major differences. The large co-ed squad of cheerleaders consists of 12 men and eight women, while the small co-ed squad has 20 to 24 women and just four men. Both squads cheer at New Mexico State basketball games.
- Saint Mary's Gaels cheerleaders
The Saint Mary's Gaels of the West Coast conference almost always have some really hot cheerleaders. Saint Mary's is located in Moraga, California, which is in the San Francisco Bay area.
- Memphis Tigers cheerleaders
The Memphis Tigers are headed to the Big East conference next year, but the Big East will probably be considered a mid-major by then. So the Memphis Tigers cheerleaders qualify here. Memphis has two cheer squads, one is co-ed, while other is all-women.
- New Mexico Lobos cheerleaders
The New Mexico Lobos have two squads of cheerleaders, one is co-ed, while the other is all-women. New Mexico also has a great dance team called the Chaparral Dance Team. All three squads of cheerleaders perform at New Mexico college basketball games.
